Girona’s campsites offer a wide range of facilities with Kids & Fun certification, catering to families with children of all ages. A total of 35 family campsites can be found along the Costa Brava and in the Pyrenees. These spots provide special services and specific facilities for families, as well as thousands of activities for every age group, all in a natural setting perfect for having fun with the family.
Whether you go for a seaside or mountain destination, you’ll have a fantastic family holiday at one with nature and the great outdoors. Family Friendly campsites offer a wide range of services and activities. The most popular include: Children’s entertainment, football and basketball courts, swimming pools and water parks, restaurants offering children’s menus, nursery, parties for adults and children, and several more blending family fun and freedom for everyone.
Kids & Fun campsites are also a magical place for children of all ages, who’ll make friends from other countries, learn about new cultures and enhance their social skills in a safe, healthy environment. Camp leaders run fun activities and the children won’t ever want to leave. When they get home, they’ll be counting down the days until coming back next year to have a great time again with their friends.
It should be noted that several Kids & Fun campsites are in towns with the Family Tourism Seal, which identifies campsites specialised in catering for families, with facilities for visitors of all ages. The Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees Family Tourism destinations are: Blanes, Lloret de Mar, Torroella de Montgrí, Calonge-Sant Antoni, Roses, Castell – Platja d’Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Sant Pere Pescador and Vall d’en Bas – Les Preses. Some of these towns are also home to excellent beaches for having fun with the family.
