Through the joint effort of tourists, residents, and local establishments, we have achieved very positive results. Here are the statistics:

• South Costa Brava: 5.4% reduction compared to 2023
• Central Costa Brava: 4.9% reduction
• Antiga Mancomunitat: 5.1% reduction
• North Costa Brava: 20.1% reduction

Washing your hands or brushing your teeth can consume between 6 and 12 liters of water per minute. Turn off the faucet while you lather or brush your teeth and save up to 5 liters per wash.

3. The express shower challenge! 🎶

A 10-minute shower uses up to 200 liters of water. But if you reduce it to 5 minutes, you can save more than 1,500 liters per month! Set a timer or listen to a short song and make it a challenge with family or friends. Who can shower the fastest and most efficiently?

4. Washing dishes with a bucket 🪣

Washing dishes under the faucet, a family of 4 can use up to 100 liters of water per day. If you use a bucket, this consumption can be reduced to just 30-40 liters. With this simple practice, you can save more than 5,000 liters a year!
