Camping La Fradera

Mountain campsite located in the medieval town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga, next to the river. From our location you can enjoy the charms of the Alt Empordà region: the mountains, the rural surroundings and the sea; since we are only 30 minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Catalonia. If you are looking for a family and quiet environment where you can relax, feel the murmur of the Muga River, go hiking or cycling, come to experience the camperlife with us!

The town of Sant Llorenç de la Muga consists of a 13th-14th century walled enclosure of which its towers are still preserved, which can be visited and constitute one of the main tourist attractions of the village. In the surroundings there are many mountain routes for all levels. You can even find routes suitable for children, such as the path to the “Torre del Guaita” a 12th-13th century tower that is open to the public and from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the surroundings. On the other hand, in the area there are several access points to the river (one of which is inside the campsite) that allow you to enjoy the pools and waterfalls in the valley. It is worth taking an outing through the surrounding towns to discover a hidden cultural gem or even get to Figueres (30 minutes by car), where you can find a broader cultural and entertainment offer.
