Day 1: From Blanes to Tossa – The Start of the Costa Brava Journey

Your route begins in Blanes, the southern “gateway” to the Costa Brava. Here, you can visit the Marimurtra Botanical Garden, offering spectacular views over the cliffs, or start tasting the sea at Cala Sant Francesc.

Continue to Lloret de Mar, home to well-known beaches like Santa Cristina or more hidden coves such as Cala dels Frares. The coastal path between Lloret and Fenals is short and beautiful, perfect for families with children. Don’t miss the Santa Clotilde Gardens, located atop a cliff with views of the Mediterranean.

End the day in Tossa de Mar, one of the most beautiful villages in the area, with its walled enclosure right next to the sea.

In this area, you’ll find several campsites with bungalows or pitches to spend the night surrounded by nature yet close to the urban center:

Continue to S’Agaró and Platja d’Aro, where the coastal path of Cala Sa Conca is one of the most beautiful. Then, explore Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, and Tamariu, three seaside villages with spectacular coves, cobbled streets, and a lively atmosphere.
