These towns help us to understand the career of an international artist who had strong roots to his homeland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To immerse yourself in the unique world of Salvador Dal\u00ed and to understand his life and work, we recommend visiting the three museums:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><b><a href=\"https:\/\/campingsingirona.com\/en\/2023\/03\/dali-theatre-museum-jewel-surrealism\/\">Theatre &#8211; Dal\u00ed Museum<\/a>:<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salvador Dal\u00ed chose to build his museum on the ruins of the Old Municipal Theatre of Figueres, which had been left in ruins at the end of the Civil War. The museum showcases much of his work and his development as an artist.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><b>Gala Dal\u00ed Castle House-Museum in P\u00fabol:<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Located in a medieval building in P\u00fabol, Dal\u00ed focused his creative efforts on dedicating the castle to his beloved muse, Gala. A visit reveals the great artist\u2019s romantic side, through a castle decorated in vintage surrealist style.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><b>Home &#8211; Salvador Dal\u00ed Museum:<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the small fisherman&rsquo;s cottage where Salvador Dal\u00ed used to live and where he produced much of his work until late 1982, when following the death of Gala, he went to live in the Castle of P\u00fabol. This archaeological site is home to the remains of a Greek and Roman city that became the gateway of these two civilisations in the Iberian Peninsula. Nowadays, the remains of the ancient Greek city \u201cEmporion\u201d and the Roman city \u201cEmporiae\u201d are preserved, the latter dating back to the 1st century BC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insp\u00edra&rsquo;t highly recommends a visit to learn about the life of these civilisations and the footsteps they left behind.
