This, together with its superb location on the Catalan coast, made it a place considerably akin to tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nowadays, Lloret de Mar is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. It is therefore a central location and easy to reach thanks to the AP-7 and C-32 motorways that pass nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, there is an\u00a0<strong>international bus terminal<\/strong>\u00a0that receives every day in high season a large number of tourists from all over the world who prefer the comfort of a bus and thus save themselves the trouble of looking for a parking space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parking in Lloret de Mar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once coming to Lloret de Mar by car, it is crucial to know where to park beforehand, in order to save time and money looking for the right spots to park your vehicle. With your car parked, the best way to visit Lloret is on foot, but don&#8217;t worry, you won&#8217;t have to walk too far!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several options for\u00a0<strong>parking your car in Lloret de Mar<\/strong>, some of them free and others for a fee.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The payment options consist of regulated parking zones on the town street and also in some of the<\/span><b> guarded car parks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0in areas suitable for large numbers of vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Free parking in Lloret de Mar<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>is possible, but you have to go to the outskirts of the town and you are not always guaranteed to find a space, especially in summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If possible, it is always advisable to leave the car parked in the hotel or campsite car parks and travel <strong>on foot or by bus<\/strong>\u00a0to points of interest such as the town centre or the surrounding beaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By train or plane<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also possible to reach Lloret by train, although not directly. The nearest station is\u00a0<strong>Blanes station<\/strong>, with direct connection to Barcelona. The aim of this route is to showcase the artistic and historical legacy hidden in cemeteries, places that are rarely visited by tourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Art Nouveau cemetery of Lloret<\/strong>\u00a0is a unique jewel that is definitely worth a visit. Let&#8217;s go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lloret Beach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first beach we would like to talk about is in the town of Lloret de Mar itself, located just a few streets from the centre of the town and very easy to get to. It is a large beach,\u00a0<strong>typical of the coastal towns<\/strong>\u00a0of the Costa Brava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means it is equipped with\u00a0<strong>all the services<\/strong>: bars, restaurants, water sports and leisure activities and sun loungers for relaxing and sunbathing. Many consider it to be the most romantic place in Lloret!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And although it&#8217;s a bit far from the restaurants on the promenade, there&#8217;s no problem because if you want to have a drink, there&#8217;s also a\u00a0<strong>bar-restaurant<\/strong>\u00a0where you can have a drink and an aperitif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Playa de Fenals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fenals beach in Lloret<\/strong>\u00a0is just past Sant Joan castle and is the second largest beach in Lloret de Mar. It is located only 15 minutes from the city centre and is easily accessible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All this, together with the fact that it is less crowded than Lloret beach, makes it the\u00a0<strong>ideal spot for families<\/strong>\u00a0who want to enjoy the beach calmly and without problems. Although it is a bit of a walk to get to the beach, the surroundings are worth it, and it also means fewer tourists come to the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you want to have a quiet swim or walk along the sand with your feet in the water, Cala Boadella is your ideal beach. And all this just\u00a0<strong>3 km from the centre<\/strong>\u00a0of Lloret!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cala Treumal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, we reach the southernmost beach in Lloret: the well-known\u00a0<strong>Cala Treumal<\/strong>. It must be said that this beach is actually part of the municipality of Blanes, but as it is connected to Santa Cristina beach, we couldn&#8217;t help mentioning it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A curiosity about this beautiful cove is that it is located next to the\u00a0<strong>Pinya Rosa tropical botanical garden<\/strong>, where you can see more than 7000 species of plants, most of them cacti.
